Our inaugural season centers on the art of storytelling, presenting three recitals that each explore a different narrative. Programming both familiar favorites as well as undiscovered gems of the song repertoire, each performance features world class performers in intimate settings.

Schubert's timeless winter story is retold in a new way, by combining selections from the original song cycle with other works in the art song canon that add fresh perspectives to the Wanderer's journey. Repertoire to include works by Rachmaninoff, Stenhammar, De Falla, and others alongside excerpts from Schubert's Winterreise.

"Songs of Ophelia" presents a new way to look at Shakespeare's famous tragic character from Hamlet. This carefully curated program features the many ways poets and composers have brought her to life, each giving her a distinct voice of her own that has endured throughout the centuries. Works to include selections by Schumann, Brahms, Berlioz, and others.
